After a discussion with my friend William- I've decided to just speak my mind!
So, maybe you will hear more from me now. I BELIEVE the biggest problem we have is that we do not believe GOD'S WORD as the highest authority in our lives! There you have it- me speaking my mind!
Speaking my mind!
The Lord at their Head
Last night at Ignite my dad shared a bit that the next decade will be an open hunting season- a season for us to take back that which was stolen and a decade of supernatural advancement for the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Early this year the Lord gave me the following scripture in Mica 2:13- One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their king will pass through before them, the Lord at their head. At our last freedom outreach in Delft-Capetown I felt the Lord quickened this verse in me again! "The King saying- I will be at their head"! This is significant for our Ministry, because I believe that we are called to break open the way for many, and now the Lord confirming- wherever you go to break open the way for the people- I will be at your head!
I want to encourage you- It is time for the Kingdom of God to advance- taking new ground for you personally and your family, for your church and the Kingdom! It is time to take risks! It is time for taking over! There will be no lack of power, finances, wisdom, whatever- because the Lord, the King Himself will be at our head!
Ignite Conference 9-11 September 2010
Hi, this will only be a short post. The conference was great, an average of 120 people attended the conference. Thanx to everyone making it a success. The bottom line of the conference was- This is your time- God has appointed and anointed you for this season! It is the time for the saints to stand up in the workplace, the schools and wherever you are to release the anointing that is on your life to minister to the needy! Evangelist Reinhardt Bonnke said something very important- There need to be initiative with anointing. So the challenge is- you are anointed (we had a glorious anointing service on the Friday of our conference), so go out and do something with what you've got. O, Vidette, Lubin and myself is on holiday for the next 2 weeks. The rest of the ignite gang will go out to the hospital ministering over the next 2 Mondays. We will have a week crusade in the second week of October in Modderrivier and a week crusade the last week of October in Windsorton! Be there. Blessings, Steve
Revival Culture
I still remember one of our lecturers that taught on pastoral care always said- you do not become a pastor after you are ordained or after four years of seminary, if you aren't one now, you will never be one. Revival will impact you yes, but it will not make you a revivalist! I believe that we were born for a time like this- for this worldwide revival that will hit the earth- Act 17:26,27 From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.
The questions is- are you waiting for the revival, or are you part of the revival culture that will ignite revival fires wherever they go?
Here are some key characteristics of a revival culture:
*God is pouring out new wine in new wineskin's- Revivalists have a new mindset/renewed mindset/new believe-system, ready for the new wine to be poured out.
Isa 43:18,19 "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
If we dwell on the past, on how He did or did not do it- we may miss out on what He is doing now!
*This new revival culture is not the "lone ranger" type. We understand the importance of being "under cover" and networking- because this revival will be a Kingdom revival. Make sure that you are part of a local church. See the partnership between Moses and Joshua in Exodus 17:8-16.
*The revival culture knows the need of a real intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ- John 15:4,7 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
We need to be connected to Jesus through His word and His Holy Spirit!
*We believe in a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. It is not just something we do, it is who we are.
*We live to demonstrate the Kingdom of God here on earth. Making Jesus real through the dunamis power given by the Holy Spirit living inside of us.
Remember:
2 Tim 2:21 So whoever cleanses himself [from what is ignoble and unclean, who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences] will [then himself] be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated and profitable to the Master, fit and ready for any good work.

A new thing...
"But Lord, for the past 10 years you have done it this way..."
If you feel frustrated this last few months, maybe you feel like you are missing God all-together, not in tune as you use to be- listen to this:
Isa 43:18,19a "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
It is not that He is not working in your life anymore, you are in a new season! So- forget about the past, on what work and what doesn't work- See- He is doing a brand new thing in your life- and if you are open you will see it spring up everywhere.
Jesus said new wine in new wineskin- something you have never tasted before. But for you to contain it He has to change you, the way you think- a new wineskin.
My prayer is that we will not miss Him in this new season we are heading in, because we dwell on the past (good or bad), but let us rather open our heart and our spirit to see and accept what God is doing today.
If you are in Kimberley and you are not attending our Ignite meetings every Monday from 7-8 pm you are missing out. The venue- Mirage Outdoor activities (Paintball club).
